FORT WORTH, TEXAS – (Sept. 9 2025) – Nearly 28,000 square feet of new restaurants and retail – including dining powerhouses Polanco, Reata and Bella Genta – were recently added to the two-building, mixed-use project of The Tower and 500 Taylor in the Fort Worth Central Business District (CBD).
The Tower, at 500 Throckmorton, is a 37-story condo tower with retail and restaurant space and 287 upscale homes. 500 Taylor (named for its address) is a 111,000-square-foot Class-A office project. Corporate real estate advisory firm Citadel Partners handles the exclusive leasing of the office project. The office leasing efforts are led by Market Leader Cullen Donohue, Partner Andy Goldston and Senior Advisor Breck Besserer.
“Downtown Fort Worth continues to thrive as a hub for both business and lifestyle, and the addition of the premier dining at The Tower strengthens that momentum,” said Donohue. “These enhancements not only elevate the experience for tenants and visitors but also reinforce downtown as a vibrant destination for the entire community right in the heart of downtown Fort Worth.”
Located immediately across the street from The Tower, 500 Taylor offers 68,136 square feet of available Class-A office space, including a full top-floor suite with panoramic views. Following a $4 million renovation in 2024, the property features modern, light-filled workspaces, abundant parking and 6,686 square feet of available ground-floor retail. Building naming and signage rights are available, as well, Goldston said.
“The Tower and 500 Taylor represent one of the most compelling opportunities in downtown Fort Worth,” said Besserer. “With limited options available for office tenants needing 60,000 square feet or more, these buildings stand out by pairing rare large-block office space with unmatched access to dining, retail and residential amenities right at your doorstep. It’s the kind of environment that companies are seeking when they look to expand or establish a headquarters presence in a vibrant, growing city like Fort Worth.”
Owned by SADA Capital Partners LLC and SADA Tower LLC, the mixed-use project recently signed 28,000 square feet of new retail and dining, making the buildings an even more attractive environment for tenants looking to join a thriving downtown destination.
“Our vision for The Tower and 500 Taylor is to create more than just a landmark project; it’s a vibrant destination where business, dining and lifestyle intersect,” said Shaukat Sindhu Chaudhry, managing director & CEO of SADA Partners LLC and SADA Tower LLC. “By welcoming premier restaurants like Reata and now Polanco, we are transforming The Tower into a hub that enhances the experience for our tenants, their employees and the Fort Worth community.”
“We are extremely bullish on the Fort Worth Market,” Chaudhry said. “The city offers a rare combination of economic strength, cultural depth and pro-growth policies, making it a magnet for companies relocating to Texas. This project fills a critical need for businesses looking to plant their flag in the heart of downtown, offering Class-A office space, best-in-class amenities and world-class dining all under one roof.”
The Fort Worth CBD continues to experience remarkable growth and transformation, driven by significant investments such as Texas A&M University’s new law and research campus, planned enhancements to the Fort Worth Convention Center and additional developments soon to be announced. This momentum reinforces downtown Fort Worth as not only a premier location for business but also a vibrant, family-friendly destination for dining, entertainment and weekend activities.
Reata returned to its original home at The Tower, but instead of its original 35th-floor location, it is now on the ground floor at the corner of Throckmorton and 4th Street. Bella Gente is a casual, authentic Italian focaccia and pizza restaurant, and Polanco specializes in authentic, upscale Mexican cuisine.
“We are thrilled to bring Polanco to the iconic Tower in downtown Fort Worth. Our vision has always been to create an elevated Mexican culinary experience that celebrates tradition with a modern touch. Partnering with SADA Capital Partners allows us to be part of the city’s most vibrant live-work-play environment, and we are proud to join other premier tenants in making The Tower a true destination for both locals and visitors,” said Humberto Novoa, president and CEO of Polanco.
“Our partnership with Citadel Partners has been instrumental in driving the success at The Tower at 500 Taylor. Their deep expertise and relationships in the Fort Worth market have helped us attract premier tenants, reinforcing this mixed-use project as a top destination for companies looking to establish a flagship presence in Texas,” said Chaudhry.
“Combine The Tower’s dynamic restaurant scene and its on-site luxury condominiums with the Class-A office space at 500 Taylor, and these two properties create a true live-work-play environment,” said Goldston. “For a company seeking a headquarters location, the opportunity is rare: premier office space at the center of a walkable district, energized by phenomenal retail and dining at your doorstep.”
