Citadel Partners Advises in Finalizing Sale of a 700,000 square foot Semiconductor Facility in Irving, Texas for Future Data Center

Maxim Integrated Products Sells Idle Manufacturing Facility to Quality Technology Services

Citadel Partners announced it assisted Maxim Integrated Products in finalizing the sale of an idle semiconductor facility in Irving, Texas. Maxim Integrated Products, Inc. sold the site last month to Quality Technology Services (QTS).

Maxim Integrated bought the property in 2007 from Atmel. With adequate in-house and external manufacturing capacity, Maxim decided not to open the Irving facility and marketed it for sale in 2012.

The property consists of approximately 700,000 square feet of buildings on 40 acres of land. QTS intends to convert the facility into a data center.
