CITADEL PARTNERS WELCOMES MITCH OWEN TO ITS TEAM AS DIRECTOR OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT
DALLAS – October 7, 2014 – Citadel Partners, a real estate advisory firm specializing in corporate tenant and investment advisory services, is proud to announce Mitch Owen has joined the team as Director of Project Management. Mitch has more than 38 years of diverse experience in real estate development and the construction industry. His expertise and vast experience will further enhance Citadel Partners’ growth and ensure each project is successfully executed in an organized manner.
Throughout his many years in real estate, Mitch has gained thorough knowledge of construction methods, procedures, estimating, contracting and scheduling. He has served as both a general contractor and construction manager, interfacing with major construction companies, architectural firms and property management companies in the Dallas area.
“The construction process can be an intimidating and a costly experience for anyone not familiar with the inner workings and requirements of a project. At Citadel Partners, we are uniquely qualified to direct our clients through this process by partnering with Mitch as our in-house project manager to navigate this process. Prior to joining Citadel Partners, Mitch served as president and owner of Tri-Tex Construction from 1998 to 2013. In this role, Mitch built Tri-Tex from scratch into a $20 million a year gross sales company. Averaging 350 projects per year, Mitch and his team worked on almost every major building in Dallas with key owners, management and leasing firms. Tri-Tex specialized in Class A office, retail, industrial and medical build-outs.
Before founding Tri-Tex, Mitch spent nine years with Fults Realty, a large commercial brokerage and leasing company, as vice president of construction management, where he worked closely with virtually every general contractor in the business. These connections will prove valuable in his new role as director of project management at Citadel Partners. Mitch is a licensed real estate broker and a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a BBA in finance.
